Pam & Luke

How are you doing – we hope that you are all okay.

We moved to Oxford two weeks ago and it has been a busy few weeks. We have been on campus sharing the gospel, connecting with believing students, getting to know our lovely team and getting orientated to the city and life in Oxford.

We are still in the process of raising financial support for our living costs here in Oxford. Please pray that God would provide for all the support we need.

Some of the highlights….
Meeting lots of Russian people here in Oxford!! God seems to have brought Russians onto our path here in Oxford. One girl Julia is coming to church with me on Sunday. She is not a believer – please pray that God would open her eyes to the truth.

We thank God for our amazing team – they are a quality bunch, who we have lots to learn from. Please pray for continued unity and love for one another.

Night Club outreach – we have been going out with the believing students to the clubs during Freshers week. We gave out free water and chatted to students. It was an awesome time and God opened up lots of opportunities for the gospel! Praise God. Students that were open, we invited to an explore course running in the colleges. Pray for those significant conversations and that many students would come to the Explore course to find out more about Jesus.

Getting to know the students here in Oxford – they have made us really welcome and have been very open to talk more. Pray that God would continue to give us his heart for the students and that we would be able to connect well.

There are many homeless people in Oxford – Sarah and I had a long chat to a lady called Tess. She was a lovely lady and said she wanted to receive Christ but she felt unworthy to be accepted by Christ. Please pray that God would speak to her and she would understand how much God loves her and values her. We gave her a Bible and she has been reading John’s gospel.

Please pray for us that we would keep our eyes focused on Jesus and grow in our love for him, for his protection and peace in our lives.

With love in Christ
