Selly Oak Elim Pool League
The Selly oak Elim Pool League was set up to act as a Social event which would, as it's main priority, raise funds for orphans in Uganda. The funds are sent via Pastor Joseph Serwadda of the Victory Christian Centre in Kampala and then distributed as food, clothing, etc. to the needy.

As of Thursday 10th April 2008, there have now been three League Seasons and three Knockout Tournaments as well as one Accumulator Cup Tournament. For details of the results from these click on the links to go to the various results pages.
LEAGUE RESULTS TOURNAMENT RESULTS 8 Ball Rules 9 Ball Rules Handicaps
The fourth season will be starting on Monday 21st April 2008 and there is already some tension in the air after the closest finish we've had since the league started.
FOURTH SEASON HAS NOW BEEN CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
Instead, we're looking at doing a Social / Evangelistic night every Monday (except the first Monday of each month) where folks can come along and play 8 ball pool, 9 ball pool, chess, draughts, (perhaps darts??) cards or anything else you can think of.
There will be a charge of ONE POUND per person each week you attend but there will be no obligation to turn week after week.
If you're interested, please contact Steve Cleaver (usually on the PA desk on Sundays) and come up with ideas of what you'd like to play.
