J-CELL KEY GROUP

J-CELL is our new key group for the JUNOS (7-11s).  We read the Bible, pray, give thanks to God, ask really tricky questions, learn about what it means to be close to God, encourage each other, play games, make stuff…. in fact it’s one of the best key groups around!

Children's Holiday Club - 5th-8th August 2008

 

This, year, our holiday club, CHAMPION’S CHALLENGE will be held at Tiverton Primary School!  We hope to have all kinds of sporty fun including races, crafts, games, songs and much more!  Not only that,  the last day of the club will be extra special, but you will have to come along to find out why!

This year's holiday club, FLOOD ZONE was based around the theme of Noah's Ark and was a mixture of drama, singing, games, crafts, teaching... rolled together into a fun, high-energy programme! The club was for children aged 5-11 and we had a fabulous time!  We explored  how God showed such wonderful love towards Noah and his family and how God continues to love people just as extravagantly today.

Who are we?

 

 

                       The J-TEAM is our Sunday club for children.

 

The Jelly Tots (walking- 3 years), the Jelly Beans (4-6 years) and the Junos (7-11 years) come together every Sunday and leave halfway through the morning service to go and learn more about Jesus.

 

J-TEAM time is filled with stories, games, drama, crafts, chat time and much more!  We also think that it is important to read the Bible and to say what we really think.

 

FUN is really important.  No J-TEAM session is complete without it.

 

Our leaders' purpose statement is MENTOR.  They aim to:

 

MEET the us where we are

ENCOURAGE us to walk with Jesus

NURTURE us and love us

TEACH us the truth

OFFER their time, prayer and support

RESPECT us

 

 

- If you want to learn about Jesus

- If you want to have fun

- You can contact ...the J-TEAM

 

 

All of the J-TEAM  have been CRB checked and our church has a Child Protection Policy to ensure the safety of every child.

 

 

There is also a crèche area for young children and babies with a TV link to the service.  This room is next to the main entrance and parents are asked to remain with their children.
